What Does Pasture-Raised Really Mean?
On our farm, “pasture-raised” is more than just a fancy buzzword. We take it to heart.Starting at around three weeks old, once they're strong enough to handle the changing temperatures of the outdoors, our turkeys are moved onto fresh pasture. There, they spend their days eating fresh grass, hunting for bugs, and doing what turkeys naturally love to do.
We supplement what they find on pasture with a chemical-free blend of corn and soy. This high-quality, natural diet is just one of the steps we take to raise a nutrient-dense turkey that we're proud to put on our own family's table.
Living outside also means our birds have access to something you can't replicate inside a confinement barn—fresh air and sunshine. They spend their days scratching, exploring, fluffing their feathers, and enjoying the pasture around them.
These birds truly are something special.
When you put one of our pasture-raised turkeys on your table, you can feel good knowing where it came from and how it was raised. You're choosing a bird that was raised with respect, cared for by our family, and raised in a way that works with the land around us.
